EXPERIENCE:

Douglas Murray is president of our firm. He has been a project engineer responsible for analyses, condition surveys, mechanical systems design and specifications, and field services for over 17 years. He has been a principal engineer and project manager supervising an engineering staff for over 14 years.

His recent work experience includes condition surveys and analyses, design of heating and ventilation systems, air-to-air heat exchanger systems, renovation of existing school and hospital facilities, and design and coordination of a building energy management automatic control system. Mr. Murray also has a strong background in adjusting and troubleshooting mechanical systems. His engineering experience ranges from public facilities and multiple dwelling housing units to commercial offices, retail shops, elderly housing, schools, hospitals, recreational facilities and swimming pools, and industrial workshops. His attention to detail and his practice of tuning designs utilizing local experience and engineering knowledge from initial condition surveys and schematic designs through preparation of construction documents and finishing with construction services result in mechanical systems precisely matched to the client's needs. Mr. Murray was selected as the ASHRAE Alaska Chapter Engineer of the Year and nominated for State of Alaska Engineer of the Year in 1999.
